As a specialist newborn photographer, mentor and teacher, I provide professional newborn photography training and mentoring in Essex, and across the UK. With a BA (Hons) Degree in Photography, and over 15 years of hands-on newborn experience, my teaching is rooted in real studio practice, safety, and proven systems.
My training supports photographers at every stage — from beginners to those refining their skills. You’ll learn newborn safety, baby-led natural posing, lighting, workflow, and client experience, alongside my signature Sleepy 7 Method, designed to create calm, consistent studio work flow.
We also explore the 5 Baby Personality Types — helping you understand baby behaviour and confidently photograph each temperament. For safe pose practice, I use a top-of-the-range Stand-In Baby doll, allowing you to refine technique before working hands-on with newborns.
Training takes place online or in my calm, purpose-built Essex studio (between Maldon and Colchester), with personalised mentoring tailored to your goals — whether improving posing, building consistency, or growing a sustainable newborn photography business.

3-6 x 30 minute video call after training day for further questions (scheduled in once a month)
Once a week check-in via Whatsapp messages for any questions, help and support for 3-6 months
