Celebrate your little one turning one with a fun, joyful, and slightly messy cake smash session! Each session is designed to capture your baby’s personality, those adorable frosting-covered smiles, and all the excitement of this special milestone.
Babies who have tried a little cake before the session are often more confident to explore, eat, and smash during their photos. Introducing tiny bites a few weeks beforehand can make a big difference and help them enjoy the experience even more.
I create a beautifully styled setup for each session, with a choice of soft, timeless colours: Cream, Pink, Blue, or Sage Green. You’ll receive a stunning collection of high-quality images that perfectly capture your baby’s first birthday — sweet, simple, and full of love.
1st Birthday Cake Smash Prices
Your 45-minute session is relaxed, calm, and led by an experienced photographer with over 15 years’ experience capturing babies and children. I hold a BA (Hons) Degree in Photography (2:1), so you can feel confident that your little one is in safe, skilled hands.
A £35 deposit secures your booking, with the remaining balance due on the day. Everything is straightforward — there are no hidden charges and no separate viewing sessions to attend. Your beautifully edited photos are usually ready within 7–10 days.
If you’d like to bring your own cake for the session, just let me know — I’ll deduct £30 from the package cost.

How to Book
The best time to book your baby’s first birthday cake smash is around 6–7 months old. This gives you the best chance of securing the date you’d like and allows my baker plenty of time to plan and bake your little one’s special cake.
If you’d like the photos ready for your baby’s actual birthday, I usually suggest booking a slot about two weeks beforehand. Of course, some families prefer to schedule on or near the birthday itself as a fun way to celebrate — both options work beautifully.

You can easily secure your session using my online calendar and booking system, and please note that discount or loyalty codes can not be used on Bronze Packages.
