I’m a specialist newborn photographer based in Essex, with over 150 five-star reviews across Google and Facebook, and a BA (Hons) Degree in Photography. I focus exclusively on maternity, newborn, baby and family photography, welcoming families to my purpose-built studio nestled between Maldon and Colchester. I’m also a mum to two teenagers myself, so I truly understand just how quickly these early years pass.
My studio is a calm, peaceful space designed with both parents and little ones in mind — somewhere you can take a breath, feel comfortable, and enjoy the experience. It’s fully equipped with professional lighting and thoughtfully chosen setups, but most importantly, it feels warm and relaxed from the moment you walk in.
Before each newborn session, I take time to meditate and clear my mind. It’s important to me that I’m fully present for you and your baby, creating a calm and welcoming space where you feel supported and at ease from the very beginning.
Your baby’s safety is always my priority. I’m fully trained in newborn photography safety and, with over 15 years of experience handling and gently posing newborns, you can feel reassured that your little one is in careful, experienced hands. I understand which poses are appropriate and safe, how to properly support your baby’s delicate neck and body, and how to recognise those tiny cues that tell me when they need a pause, a cuddle, or a change of position.
Everything I do is baby-led and unhurried. I use gentle soothing techniques and move at your baby’s pace, allowing the session to flow naturally in a way that feels relaxed and seamless.
Alongside photographing families, I also teach newborn photography here in Essex, supporting other photographers in learning safe and thoughtful newborn practices.
