Im Gemma, I'm 42, married, and mum of 2 beautiful girls. I love music, food, and 100% dog obsessed....but photography is my absolute passion for many years.
​
I started photographing newborn babies when I was pregnant with my eldest 15 years ago, after graduating from University with a BA Hons Photography 2:1. There wasn't many of us newborn photographers back then, and was a very new concept. I found myself busy very quickly, photographing 4 -6 sometimes more a week. 
​
Sadly, in 2018 I lost both my grandparents within a few weeks of each other, making realise that life was short, so we decided to sell up everything, and take the kids out of school (aged 4 and 8 at the time) to travel the world! Home schooling on the road was interesting, and some wine was needed to survive living on a small campervan with two small children! Since being back in the UK since 2020, after our little year adventure its been tough, just incase you ever are thinking of going on a little trip like we did, coming back and building up your life's, and starting again is the hardest. 
​
I know there is alot of competition out there, and its so hard to choose a newborn photographer that's why I decided to give you a little incite to me, as a real person and mum hoping it will help you with your search.
